How it works:
When the packer is lowered to the designed depth, it presses down on the tubing,
Through the filter cover, the hole of the lower joint enters the water tank of the center pipe and fills the entire space of the rubber cylinder. When the pressure difference between the inside and outside of the tubing reaches the setting pressure of the packer, the rubber cylinder expands, thus sealing the annular space of the oil casing and draining the pressure in the tubing. The rubber cylinder can be unsealed by shrinking back to its original state depending on its own elasticity.
Scope of use
The packer is an important tool for sealing the oil layer in casing. Its main component is the rubber drum, through hydraulic or mechanical action, the rubber drum swelling seals the annular space of the tubing and casing, the upper and lower oil layers are separated, to achieve the purpose of construction, which is the main role of the packer.
Structure composition:
The K344 packer is composed of five parts: lower joint, floating head, sealing element, center pipe and upper joint, among which the rubber cylinder is a three-layer structural rubber cylinder with high elasticity and high strength stainless steel belt as the skeleton layer.
